60 lunch dates!
Simple as it sounds. I eat out for lunch nearly every day. It's just something I've always done as a time to get a break from the office and have some time to think. I'd like to use that time this year to have lunch with 60 friends, people I want to reconnect with, or even people I don't know well yet. I need to make this one public so if anyone wants to have lunch with me, they can just reach out. Lunch is on me, so let me know if you wanna go! :-)

Had a fantastic lunch with Nephi (knee-fi) at Chivo in Knoxville. Nephi and I met when I was a guest speaker in his photography course at UT. He saw my post about this Hello, 60! project and reached out to me. He just turned 60 himself and was contemplating a list of sorts himself. We talked about that and so much more. He retired from his long time career with UPS and is now doing voiceover work. I will be forwarding his info to all the production people I know!
Check out his work!

I’ve known Alex since she was 3. She’s 29 now. Her family moved in next to us on the lake. I’ve had the great pleasure of seeing Alex grow from that little girl counting the hearts and spades on playing cards to an incredibly beautiful and talented powerhouse of a woman. Alex has endured much and succeeded wildly at everything she’s dipped a toe into. Photography, modeling, talent management, branding and marketing, furniture design, travel content creator, and now being a mother. And she’s only just getting started. We had a blast eating some Clean Eatz and catching up on all things life past, present, and future. I’ll always be in Alex’s corner. Rooting her on. Helping any way I can. Watching with joy from afar. We discussed everything from AI and the future of the universe to traveling and living abroad. She and her husband love to travel as much as I do, maybe more. Check out a super cool travel club she recommends below.

Boog and Mike are former business partners and long long time friends. Met both when I first moved to Knoxville and was coaching the UT cheerleading program. We were all young and fresh out of college. They pioneered the modern day cheer gym and brought me into that business. We owned 17 gyms at one point and ended up selling that company to Varsity Spirit/Brands. An early exit and win in my career. We have all remained friends but our professional paths have diverged. They are serial entrepreneurs and brilliant business guys that have been wildly successful. We are all nearly on the other side of kids in the house and getting older, hopefully wiser. We talked business, health, family and friends, AI, aging, functional health, peptides, and lawsuits. lol. Just had a good time reconnecting over some Club sandwiches and BLTs at Harvest. I def want to shout Boog out specifically for helping me out several times over the years when I really needed it. He’s always taken my call and helped anyway I needed, a very loyal, and much appreciated friend. See you guys at the tailgate this weekend!
